Literacy Programs

Literacy Programs work with adults from the nonreader stages all the way up to the eighth grade level. This involves teaching phonetic skills as well as letter and word recognition. Adults with low literacy levels may have extremely high levels of comprehension with little to no word recognition. Most, but not all, literacy programs offer GED instruction as well.
