Have fun, educate, and aid in the rebuilding of a new and better New Orleans all while earning money for school!! Literacy* AmeriCorps New Orleans has 3 full time openings left for the 2010-2011 service year beginning August 24^th 2009 and ending July 31^st 2010. The greater New Orleans area suffers from low literacy levels that severely affect both the economic development of the region and the quality of life of its residents. The objective of these positions is to assist literacy providers in promoting individual opportunity and community well-being. We need your help, enthusiasm, dedication, and heart to help get things done here in New Orleans!
